Visitation & Care Ministry

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Who cares when I hurt?

At Fleetwood CRC we are a church that cares for each other. God's Spirit is helping us bear each other's burdens, pray for each other, and encourage one another. We have trained pastors and visitors who will offer Christian care to those who need a listening ear, encouragement and prayer.

We offer care when you are:

1) In the hospital

When you face the uncertainties and pain that come with a hospital stay, one of our pastors or visitors will listen, pray, read scripture, and encourage you.

 2) Grieving

when you go through the pain of grief after a significant loss, such as the death of a loved one or the loss of a job, we will visit you and help you through this time.

 3) In need of high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care

we have trained Stephen Ministers who will come alongside of you and help you through difficult times of grief, transition, illness, etc. Go to here to find out more about Stephen Ministry.

 4) Home-bound

if you are not able to get out of your home, we will visit you. If you are not able to come to worship and participate in the Lord’s Supper, we will lead a communion service with you in your home.

 5) In conflict

If you are in conflict with someone and need help resolving it in healthy ways, we have members who are trained in Restorative Practices. Go here to find out more about Restorative Practices. http://canada.iirp.edu/

 6) In doubt, temptation, trouble, fear, etc. we will come alongside of you to listen, help find answers, and provide spiritual help.
