COVID-19 and Worship

In response to the developing COVID-19 situation, we have suspended regular gathering for Sunday morning services until further notice.

Please join us this Sunday via live streaming starting at 9:55am.  Go to here and click on “FCRC YouTube Live Stream”.  Our worship team will lead the singing , our pastor will preach a sermon on Elijah and a Council member will lead the prayers.   We have created a worship liturgy to assist you in participating in the March 15 service.  Go to here to download it.  We are making plans future services and will communicate them as they arise.

The calls we hear lately for “social distancing” seem to counter everything we are as a worshiping community and as social beings. Yet we are part of a larger community in Canada and we need to do our part in containing the spread of the coronavirus.

We are entering into a period unlike any we’ve had in recent memory. We know that God is with us and God will bless us as we go through Lent in this wilderness way.  Please join us in praying for all those who have become sick from the coronavirus, those attending to the sick and those working to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.  We hope these measures, and any that follow in the coming days, will only be needed for a short time.
